Kimberly Blaeser's essay "ritual of memory" talks about how her friends Carly hair is like our relashinship with our friends, family, and the places we go to. Blaeser also says that story telling and memory define us. Blaeser spends Memorial Day visiting graves with the legionnaires grave. She also visits the Indian burial grounds.This shows her two alter come together as one. Blaeser talks about attending catholic school and going on adventures because of her Indian culture.
